Blue-and-white porcelain ‘Landscape’ brush pot, Qing Dynasty

A cylindrical porcelain vessel decorated with a continuous central scene of a beautiful landscape of a lake and mountains with small figures, all in underglaze blue enamel. Framing the image are two decorative borders, which imitate the natural texture of wood with enamel and also cover the inside of the jar. On the base is a four-character seal, inscribed in a double circle ‘雍正年制’.
