A traditional bronze jug with gilt-bronze details. It has a conical foot and a rounded body, wider at the shoulders, decorated with small medallions and flanked by two curved handles. The neck, which is stepped and covered by a small concave lid, has an elongated mouthpiece and a third handle that joins it to the body. It shows age-related wear.
This type of jar was used in Tibet for the preparation of tea or Yak milk. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
