Brown and black glazed pottery bowl, Jin dynasty

An elegant pottery bowl with a small, narrow foot on which sits a broad conical body. It is decorated with a thick two-coloured glaze on a black ground, with subtle iron oxide-coloured flecks of a coppery hue standing out against it. Jin Dynasty (11215-1234) or later.
