Carved jade belt hook, Han dynasty

Carved jade, green, in the shape of a belt hook. The upper end has an elongated 'chilong' head that crowns an openwork medallion depicting a phoenix. The reverse has a button shape for attaching the piece to clothing. In very good overall condition, with wear and patina.
