Carved jade monkey, Qing dynasty

A celadon-colored jade figure with reddish tones in a single piece decorated with filigree carving and great detail. It represents a monkey surrounded by branches of peaches in fruit with ruyi and other smaller monkeys climbing up these branches on the reverse.
