Ceramic paintbrush container ‘Landscape’, Qing dynasty

Ceramic modelled in the form of a vessel, with a wide, tubular body resting on three elongated trapezoidal feet. It is decorated with a continuous scene of a tranquil landscape, including high, craggy mountains, lush trees and a lake with small figures strolling by, all framed by two double blue lines at the top and bottom. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
