Chen Shaomei "Yunzhang" (1909 - 1954) "Mountain landscape", 1943

Ink, watercolor and pigments on paper, framed on canvas. It shows a traditional Chinese landscape with high mountains in a valley with a river. Along the banks there are large trees and lots of vegetation. Within this environment, a visitor can be seen going to a cabin with three people inside who are having tea.

In the upper left corner there is an inscription "癸未三月少梅陈雲彰" (In March of the year Guiwei, Shaomei Chen, Yunzhang) with two seals "陈雲彰" "少梅".
