Chinese Glazed Porcelain Leon, Southern Song Dynasty (1127 - 1279)

Figure delicately modeled in porcelain and glazed in celadon color of a greenish blue with brown glazed eyes. The animal is sitting on its hind legs and holding a ball with its right paw. The piece is in perfect condition with no cracks or restorations.
