Chinese painting ‘Musicians in the garden’, signed Hu Ruofo

Pigments and ink on paper, with a carved silk frame. It shows an erotic scene, with three young women carrying instruments, while one of them dances naked while playing the ‘pipe’ or ‘Chinese guitar’, all framed by a beautiful garden of lush vegetation in soft pastel colours. Signed and stamped ‘Hu Ruofo’ (1908-1980) on the right side.
