Enamelled porcelain cunenco ‘Dragon’, with Guangxu seal

Modelled porcelain, covered with vibrant yellow and green underglaze glaze. It has a short circular foot and a rounded body, widening at the mouth, adorned with the continuous image of a ferocious five-clawed dragon, with a long, sinuous body covered with fine scales, an intense gaze and gaping maw. It is set against a raging sea and a yellow sky filled with small clouds and flaming pearls. At the base is a six-character seal ‘大清光绪年制’.
