Gilded bronze ‘Buddha’ figure, Liao style

Figure in gilded bronze, with greenish stains caused by oxidation of the metal. It shows a small Buddha on a lotus throne, in an upright position, with his hands in Anjali mudra at chest level. He is dressed in a long robe full of folds. The expression is serene, with closed eyes and mouth, framed by long ears.
