Gilt-bronze figure ‘Boar’, Qing dynasty

Gilt bronze with traces of darkened patina. It shows the image of a wild boar, standing upright on all four legs, with its tail cocked to one side and looking straight ahead. It has a wrinkled snout flanked by two small tusks, open eyes and two elongated, extended ears.
