Gilt-bronze figure ‘Ox’, Qing dynasty

A small gilded bronze figure depicting a beautiful recumbent ox with its tail cocked to one side and its legs tucked under its belly, except the front leg, which leans forward. It shows a robust anatomy, with a thick neck and a large head with an intense gaze and open eyes.
