Glass and bronze rhomboid writing desk, Napoleon II style, 19th century

Glass inkwell with a gilt-bronze frame. The body of the piece is supported by four spherical legs, one at each of the lower corners of the rhombus.  Decorated with garlands and two supports for a nib or brush. In good condition, with minor wear due to age.
