Glazed ceramic figurine ‘Lion Foo’, Jin Style

Ceramic modelled in the form of a ferocious foo lion, with a robust body, sitting on its hind legs, a menacing expression with large eyes and open jaws showing its fangs. The elongated tail is erect, as is the head, crowned by a large curly mane. The piece is covered with a thick reddish glaze. Yaozhou Kiln.
