Glazed ceramic ‘Landscape’ vessel, Qing Dynasty

Ceramic modelled in the form of a traditional vessel, with a wide base and a rounded body ending in a small circular mouth. It is decorated with a fine shoulder-high border of geometric patterns, followed by a large rural scene, with high mountains, a calm lake crossed by a small boat and traditional buildings. It shows wear and age cracks. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
