Hu Shu (1825-1872) "Poem", Qing dynasty.

Ink on paper with gold splashes. The four characters "与古为徒" written in the center are a Chinese idiom meaning to be a friend of the ancients. On the left is written "尔遐四兄大人 / 清鉴 / 荄甫弟胡澍" which identifies the author.

It shows some flaws and wear although it is in good condition.
