Junyao glaze-glazed ceramic vase, Song dynasty

An elegantly modelled ceramic vase decorated with a beautiful ‘Junyao’ glaze, with a milky-blue background, dotted with purple flecks. It has a short circular foot and a bulging, pear-shaped belly, crowned by a stylized cylindrical neck that widens and ends in a flaring mouth. Song Dynasty (960-1279) or later.
