Junyao glazed earthenware dish, Song dynasty

Made of ceramic covered with a thick, uniform blue glaze, with patches or splashes of intense purple of varying shades, lighter at the edges. It has a flat, circular base with a wide, rounded rim. Song Dynasty (960-1279) or later.
