Lacquered wooden dragon box, Qing dynasty

Made of carved wood and decorated with red and black lacquer with gilded details. On the lid are two dragons facing each other, winding through clouds. In the centre of the lid is a cartouche that reads '大清乾隆御製' (Qianlong Emperor of the Qing dynasty). On the base is an inscription in archaic characters.
