Longquan celadon ware censer, Song style

Ceramic modelled and covered with a beautiful celadon glaze, of a greenish-blue hue, with subtle impurities. It has three short feet on which a flat, circular base is arranged, followed by a cylindrical body, decorated with horizontal ribs also known as the ‘弦纹’ string pattern. This type of decorative pattern comes from ancient Chinese ceramics and bronze ware. In very good condition, with patina. Longquan kiln.
