Octagonal porcelain writing desk, France, 19th-20th century

Antique porcelain enamelled writing desk. Double inkwell with ink blotter and nib holder. It has a sealing bar and a small candle for closing letters and documents. Polychrome decoration in enamel and gold pigments resembling a small garden. With characters on the inside. It shows faults and slight wear due to age.
