Pair of dishes, yellow and green glaze, with Jiajing marking

Thin-walled, delicately modelled and glazed porcelain in the form of small open-rimmed dishes. The exterior has a decorative band of incised spiral lotuses, enclosed in a double ring, and glazed in green.  In the centre is the same decoration as a medallion, and on the reverse is a seal "大明嘉靖年制" Jiajing. The background is amber-yellow.
