Pair of glazed porcelain foo lions, Qing dynasty

Two porcelain figures modelled in the form of ferocious foo lions, standing upright on their four sturdy legs with sharp claws, their bodies covered with thick, curly fur, their heads cocked to one side, showing an intimidating expression of large eyes and gaping jaws with imposing fangs. Both figures are covered in a beautiful blue glaze. Slightly damaged.
