Pair of pink family plates ‘Flowers and birds’, 20th century

Two porcelain dishes with underglaze ‘famille rose’ coloured enamels. They have a slightly deep body in the centre, surrounded by a wide, flat rim. They show a central scene of peony branches and flowering chrysanthemums with small, fine birds. The border is decorated with a decorative border, decorated with bats and clouds on one of them, and with rosettes and flowers on the other. One of them has a six-character stamp on the base ‘大清乾隆年制’.
