Set of lacquer vase and a wooden sage figure, 20th century

The sculpture of a wise man is carved and ebonized wood with metal inlay, possibly silver. The vase is made of carved red and black lacquer with a traditional scene in the center and surrounded by flower scrolls. They show wear and small faults.
