Small Shoshan ‘Mythical Beast’ stone seal, Qing dynasty

A small carved stone seal, orange. It has a quadrangular base on which there is a relief image of a crouching mythical beast with its legs and tail tucked up, and its head tilted to one side. On the front face of the base is a small poem in incised characters. On the base is the seal in bas-relief.
