Snuff bottle ‘Meiping’, with Qianlong seal

A porcelain snuff container, modelled in the form of a small ‘Meiping’ vase with a balustraded profile, broad rounded shoulders and a small circular mouth covered by a carved stone and metal stopper. Covered by a rich pink glaze on the exterior, it has a four-character seal on the base ‘乾隆年制’ executed in underglaze blue.
