Wooden stamp with carved foo lion, 1951.

Carved wood in the shape of a seal. The base is rectangular and the seal identifying the owner is carved underneath. On the upper part is a sculpture, carved in great detail, in the form of a Chinese lion in a lying position with its head facing forward. On the front it has an inscription filled with pigment in green that reads:

"辛卯春半丁老人年 / 七十有六于古都" (The spring of the year of Xinmao / Six of seventy are in the ancient capital).

In perfect condition.
